Who is the data controller?
The data controller is Hala Law (hala-law.com). The dedicated channel for all privacy matters is contact@hala-law.com. Commercial entity registration is currently in progress; the controller details (legal name, registration number, and address) will be updated on this page as soon as registration is complete.
What we collect — the full, short list
- Your email address only, and only if you subscribe to the newsletter or request contact — via an explicit, un-ticked consent checkbox, separate from any other use of the site.
- Calculator inputs (salary, dates, length of service) are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to our servers or stored by us. Close the page and the numbers are gone.
We do not ask for your name, national ID, or phone number, and we collect no sensitive data.
Analytics
We use aggregate usage statistics to understand which pages are read and which tools are used. These statistics contain no salaries, no dates, and no personal parameters you enter into the calculators.
Where newsletter data lives
Newsletter subscriber data (email address and subscription date) is stored with a provider hosted inside Saudi Arabia.

Withdrawing newsletter consent
Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops the emails and is treated as a withdrawal of consent — no justification needed — and does not affect your use of the rest of the site.
Governing language and updates
In the event of any conflict between the Arabic and English versions of this policy, the Arabic version prevails. Any change to this policy is announced on this page with the date of the change in the visible change log, and prior versions remain documented there.
