One record instead of scattered calculations
Use one row per month, then enter three figures: what you expected, what actually arrived, and any deduction shown on the payslip or record. The ledger accepts Arabic, Persian, and English digits and totals up to 24 months without saving the entries.
| Result | How it is shown |
|---|---|
| Expected total | Sum of the expected field for every month |
| Paid total | Sum of the amount actually paid |
| Signed difference | Expected minus paid |
| Recorded deductions | A separate total that is not added to the difference |
| Different months | Number of months in which the two figures do not match |
Why are deductions kept separate?
The effect of a deduction may already be reflected in the amount that reached the account. The ledger therefore does not assume that a recorded deduction should be added to the difference; it displays the figure beside the result so the records can be compared without duplication. It does not classify the deduction or decide why a difference exists.
Legal context for checking the record
Article 90 sets wage-payment timing by wage basis, including payment once a month for monthly-paid workers. Source 1
Article 92 addresses cases in which amounts may be deducted from wages, while the Ministry of Human Resources collects those cases and their controls on its “Wage Deduction Cases and Limits” page. Source 2 Source 3
The current reference is the Labor Law issued by Royal Decree M/51 and amended by Royal Decree M/44 of 1446H, with amendments effective 19 February 2025. Decree M/44 amended parts of the law issued under M/51 and stated that the amendment would take effect 180 days after publication. Source 4
Those provisions explain the wage and deduction context; the ledger does not turn them into an individual finding. Establishing the expected figure from a contract or payslip, the reason for a difference, and the reliability of supporting records all remain outside the arithmetic.
Before printing the record
Check each month against the payslip and bank statement, and make sure the paid field contains what actually arrived rather than only the figure printed on a payslip. Once a result appears, a separate confirmation can reveal exact figures in a result image or printable report. Public sharing remains a generic link and message, making it easy to pass the tool to someone who needs to organize a record without exposing your figures.
